摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct breaking of a wiring line for display in such a case while suppressing signal delay of an auxiliary wiring line. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is equipped with an active matrix substrate 20 and a counter substrate 30 arranged opposite each other and a liquid crystal layer 40 provided between both the substrates 20 and 30 and has a display area and a non-display area defined. The active matrix substrate 20 has a plurality of source lines 4 and the auxiliary wiring line 1c which is provided in the non-display area and configured to connect with both end sides of the source lines 4, and the counter substrate 30 has a common electrode 11 for applying a voltage to the liquid crystal layer 40, an alignment layer 9b covering the common electrode 11 on the side of the liquid crystal layer 40, and a black matrix 12 which is provided in the non-display area and comes into contact with the common electrode 11 and alignment layer 9b.
