<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar light source device capable of restraining generation of emission line, hardly generating crush of pattern on back face of a light guide plate even if a pressure is impressed. <P>SOLUTION: A deflection pattern 37 dented in triangular prism shape and a diffusion pattern 38 are formed on a back face of a light guide plate. The diffusion pattern 38 is made to communicate with the diffusion pattern 37 and arranged at a side nearer to a light source than the diffusion pattern 37. The diffusion pattern 38 is formed in a concave part formed by partially denting the back face of the light guide plate 34 so as not to project out from the back face of the light guide plate. The diffusion pattern 38 is made to change its height in a manner of drawing a wave form in a direction perpendicular to light guiding direction, and made to have a uniform shape of cross section excluding both end parts in light guiding direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
