<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience to users by enabling transmission of movement information representing its own movement direction and movement quantity. <P>SOLUTION: In an information-processing device (an optical mouse 11), a mode determination part 71 determines whether an operation mode of the mouse 11 is an ordinary mode in which the mouse 11 is used in a prescribed posture or a flip mode in which the mouse 11 is used in a posture in which the mouse 11 is overturned to the prescribed posture. A movement information generation part 72 generates movement information based on light received by a light-receiving part 35. An upside-down inversion part 73 outputs the movement information as it is when the operational mode is determined to be the ordinary mode by the mode determination part 71. When the operational mode is determined to be the flip mode, the upside-down inversion part 73 inverts a direction, in which a cursor is vertically moved in the ordinary mode, in the moving direction indicated by the movement information, and then outputs the movement information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
