<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a wheelchair from moving even when a floor surface is smooth, wet, or the like, and to generate buffering action even when an obstacle collides with a footrest from an obliquely front or lateral side. <P>SOLUTION: The footrest 50 for the wheelchair which can be moved up and down by a lifting device is provided with a slippage suppression means 51 on at least one of the upper surface and the lower surface of a footrest main body part 50a so that the lower surface of the footrest 50 may contact with the ground surface or the floor surface when the footrest 50 is lowered to the most-lowered position or may contact with the ground surface or the floor surface when the footrest is bent downward by loading. A buffering member 51b projecting from the outer peripheral surface of the footrest main body part 50a is provided at a position where the obstacle collides from at least the front side and the obliquely front side of the footrest 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
