PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for a motorcycle capable of making high speed durability and operation stability compatible at high levels. SOLUTION: A main belt 7 comprising a spiral winding layer of a non-stretching cord 6 is arranged on an outer peripheral side of a crown area CR of a radial carcass and one layer of auxiliary belt layers 8 comprising a high elastic cord is arranged at both sides of the crown area CR and on an outer peripheral side of the main belt 7 with a relative gap of 20-50% of laid surface width TW of a tread part stepping surface 9. Each of a central part tread rubber 10 positioned corresponding to a left part of a reinforcement belt layer 8 and respective side part tread rubbers 11 adjacent to a side part of the central part tread rubber 10 is arranged on the tread part 2. The following total heat generation index Fc of the central part tread rubber 10 is made to a value of the total heat generation index Fs or less of the side part tread rubber 11.
