PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide array capable of amplifying a coupling signal, without being affected by a nonspecific influence of a biomolecule, and capable of obtaining highly reliable data, in particular, when used for surface plasmon (SPR) measurement to detect phosphorylation by protein kinase, in a measuring system using the peptide array. SOLUTION: In this peptide array, a peptide serving as a substrate of an enzyme reaction is immobilized on a substrate sheet, a spacer array comprising a hydrophilic compound, preferably polyethylene glycol (PEG), is inserted between a portion immobilized to the substrate sheet and the peptide serving as the substrate, and the peptide array is useful, in particular, for the detection of the phosphorylation due to the protein kinase by SPR.
