PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch structure of a transmission attaining stabilization of engagement control, particularly fine engagement control, of a multiple disk clutch. SOLUTION: In the clutch structure 1 comprising the multiple disk clutch 7 and a clutch piston 9 of the transmission, a plurality of (e.g., three or four) small-diameter piston members 60 operated by oil pressure for operating the clutch piston 9 to press the multiple disk clutch 7 are provided at circumferentially equal spaces at a portion, facing the multiple disk clutch 7, of the clutch piston 9.
