PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system capable of increasing the view angle of a desired view field while restraining the effect of each view field on focusing when photographing two or more view fields with a single camera. SOLUTION: A lower view field optical system 14 has a second face 14b and a third face 14c. The second face 14b has a projecting shape and a negative refracting powerϕ14b. The third face 14c has a recessed shape and a positive refracting powerϕ14c. The refracting powersϕ14bandϕ14csatisfy a relation expressed by ¾ϕ14b¾>¾ϕ14c¾. The lower view field optical system 14 has a refracting power of -2 to 0 diopter as a whole, and functions so as to increase the view angle of the lower area of an imaging lens.
