PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based adhesive composition that has excellent drying property and adhesiveness to woody materials. SOLUTION: The water-based adhesive composition comprises an aqueous polyurethane resin containing a temperature-responsive polymer on the surface of resin particle and an ethylene-vinyl acetate-based copolymer emulsion.
