摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific method with which waterdrops can be produced by irradiating laser beams. SOLUTION: The object region composed of air containing steam is irradiated with ultraviolet light laser beams at 270-180 nm wavelength to thereby produce the waterdrops or ice grains in the object region. The ultraviolet light laser beams are preferably argon/fluorine laser beams at 193 nm wavelength and krypton/fluorine laser beams at 248 nm wavelength. The steam content in the object region is preferably at the saturated steam pressure or above. The temperature of the object region is preferably≤3°C.
