An electron emission display device and a driving method thereof are provided to stably control a driving unit of the electron emission display by varying a driving voltage in a stepwise manner. An electron emission display device includes a pixel unit(100), a data driver(200), a scan driver(300), a data processor(500), and a power supply unit(600). The pixel unit includes first and second electrodes and displays an image. The data driver receives video data, generates a data signal, and delivers the data signal to the first electrode. The scan driver delivers a scan signal to the second electrode. The data processor recognizes the magnitude of the video data and controls the power supply. The power supply unit generates and outputs a source voltage, and converts the source voltage from a first voltage to a second voltage by using the data processor in a stepwise manner.
