<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sealing material for an image forming apparatus capable of appropriately improving sealing property. <P>SOLUTION: The sealing material 21 for the image forming apparatus has a sliding layer 24 constituted by flocking many pile yarns 27 on a supporting layer 22 having elasticity, and the sliding layer 24 is disposed in the image forming apparatus so as to come into contact with the circumferential surface of a photoreceptor drum and prevent toner from being leaked from the end of the photoreceptor drum in an axial direction by sealing. Then, a stretchy reinforcing layer 25 comprising knitting knitted to be half-tricot is provided on the surface of the supporting layer 22 on an opposite side to the sliding layer 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
