<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide conveyance and storage methods of a process cartridges by which the damage to the surface of a photoreceptor, when the process cartridge is conveyed or stored, is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: In the methods for conveying and storing the process cartridge provided detachably in the image forming apparatus body by integrally forming an electrophotographic photoreceptor 10 and a developing roller 22 facing the electrophotographic photoreceptor 10, a bag-like protective member 40 comprising a nylon sheet 40-1 having a gas enclosure means 40-2, and a discharge means 40-4 is interposed over the entire length of the developing roller 22, between the electrophotographic photoreceptor 10 and the developing roller 22, conveyed or stored. The thickness of the bag-like protective member 40 is set equal to or smaller than that of a gap (Gp) between the electrophotographic photoreceptor 10 and the developing roller 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
