<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for managing a job history capable of more efficiently reusing job histories of other devices when a plurality of devices are connected by a network and used. <P>SOLUTION: A job history transmitter/receiver 106 receives the job histories of the other devices, and previously stores the received job histories in a job history database DB2. When a user instructs to reuse a job history, the job histories of the other devices are displayed on a display unit, and a change in conditions is accepted.
