PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel apparatus and method for blow molding. SOLUTION: The blow-molding apparatus comprises a nozzle discharging a parison P downward with a constant diameter, one die body 8 arranged on the left side of the parison P discharged with a constant diameter, the other die body 9 arranged on the right side of the parison P, driving mechanisms 10 and 11 driving the die bodies 8 and 9 in the mutually approaching or separating direction, one movable die 12 arranged in the die body 8 and being freely movable in the direction to the die body 9 and in the opposite direction, the other movable die 13 arranged in the die body 9 and being freely movable in the direction to the die body 8 and in the opposite direction, and air pressing mechanisms 5 and 24 pressing air into the inside of the parison P after clamping of the movable dies 12 and 13.
