摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rubbing unevenness and a lateral electric field in an optoelectronic device such as a liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: The optoelectronic device has an electrooptic material held between a pair of a first substrate and a second substrate, and is equipped with a plurality of pixel electrodes arrayed in a matrix by being arranged in a pixel array area on the first substrate across first gap areas extending in a first direction and second gap areas crossing them and extending in a second direction, and also equipped with a counter electrode on the second substrate. A plurality of first projection parts are formed on the first substrate to project toward the second substrate, and arranged in the first gap areas and formed in island shapes apart from one another in the first direction. A plurality of second projection parts are formed on the second substrate to project toward the first substrate, and arranged in intersection areas of the second gap areas and first gap areas and formed in dots separated from one another by intersection area.
