PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve electric power efficiency, and make it possible to carry out high speed operation of an oscillation frequency in an oscillation signal output device which outputs an oscillation signal. SOLUTION: An oscillator 1 outputs the oscillation signal by supply of electric power of an electric power supply Vdd. A resistor R1 is connected between the oscillator 1 and the electric power supply Vdd. A pulse signal generator 2 is connected between the oscillator 1 and the electric power supply Vdd, and electric power is made to be supplied to the oscillator 1 by a L level pulse signal. Thereby, the electric power efficiency can be improved since an electric power supply of the oscillator 1 is turned on/turned off responding to the pulse signal. Moreover, since the resistor R1 makes falling of the oscillator 1 fast, it becomes possible to use a high speed oscillator for the oscillator 1, and high speed of the oscillation frequency becomes possible.
