PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric generator which can conduct heat very efficiently to the heat receiving portion of a thermoelectric generation module, without finishing the contact face of a heat retrieving member and the heat receiving portion of the thermoelectric generation module with high flatness, or without insulation displaced contact of the contact face. SOLUTION: When a fin member 2 reaches a high temperature together with a fin 2B in busy condition, a low melting metal layer 4 sealed by an oxidated protective film 5 melts and contacts the contact face 2A of the fin member 2 and the outer face of a heat receiving substrate 1A of the thermoelectric generating module 1 mutually with no space in-between. Resultantly, the heat conduction from the contact face 2A of the fin member 2 to the heat receiving substrate 1A of the thermoelectric generation module 1 is carried out very efficiently.
