PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decompression device formed in a simple structure and in which noise during decompression is effectively suppressed. SOLUTION: In this structure, a swing rocker arm 6 rocked by a drive cam 7 rotating in association with a crankshaft opens an engine valve (here an exhaust valve 3). When an engine is started, the swing center of the rocker arm 6 (contact part between a pivot member 4 and the rocker arm 6) is moved by pushing up the pivot member 4 by an eccentric cam 5 to open the engine valve (exhaust valve 3) for decompression.
