PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the detection of parking violations takes too much processing time and labor and it is difficult to eliminate parking violations despite field efforts, still causing accidents and traffic congestion. SOLUTION: A method for detecting parking violation employs a technique for measuring the temperatures of corresponding parts of a vehicle and computing a parking violation charge from the temperatures of the parked vehicle, as means for immediately verifying of the elapsed time of parking, to enable immediate detection of parking violation.
