PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wear-resistant member subjected to Ni-P plating which has excellent wear resistance, fatigue characteristic and corrosion resistance; and a motive-power transmitting component such as a pulley, made of a lightweight alloy. SOLUTION: The member is provided with a Ni-P plated film. The Ni-P electroless plated film is a crystalline plated film which is formed from a Ni-alloy containing 0.1-1% NH<SB>4</SB>group and has a very small average crystallite size. The Ni-P electroless plated film having excellent wear resistance, fatigue characteristic and corrosion resistance has a hardness of≥500 Hv in as-plated state, a toughness of≥50 kN and a tensile stress of≤5 kgf/mm<SP>2</SP>.
