PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ear tip rod prevented in forming a bulged part on the surface of the rod tip end surface of a small diameter rod body, hardly causing rigidity shift and capable of drawing a circular arc form having good junction. SOLUTION: A receiving inclined surface 2B obtained by enlarging rod tip side inner diameter to thin the thickness of a large diameter rod body 2, and a cylindrical part 2A having a constant inner diameter and formed on the rod rear end side of the receiving inclined surface 2B, are formed on the inner periphery surface of a rod tip end of a hollow large diameter rod body 2. A contacting inclined surface 1A contacting with the receiving inclined surface 2B, and a cylindrical part 1B internally fitted in the cylindrical part 2A at the rod rear end side of the contacting inclined surface 1A, are formed on the rod rear end part of a solid virgate small rod body 1. The rod tip maximum inner diameter of the receiving inclined surface 2B and the rod tip side maximum outer diameter of the contacting inclined surface 1A are set to be the same size, and the outer diameter of the cylindrical part 1B and the inner diameter of the cylindrical part 2A are set the same diameter to closely contact without remaining space.
