PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopically extensible rod reduced in fabrication charge and capable of preventing locked state. SOLUTION: A joint part B for retaining a small diameter side rod body 1 in an extended state to a large diameter side rod body 2 is composed of a straight cylinder part 2B formed on the large diameter side body 2 and having a contact surface keeping a constant diameter, and projection surface parts 1a formed on the small diameter side rod 1 and contacting with the contact surface of the straight cylinder part 2B. The surface layer of the straight cylinder part 2B composed by piling a prepreg having a reinforcing fiber c group extendedly arranged and set along a fixed tilt angleθto a rod axis X, and a prepreg having a reinforcing fiber c group extendedly arranged and set in a state symmetrical with the reinforcing fiber group of the prepreg and the rod axis X. The surface layer of the projecting parts 1a is composed of a prepreg obtained by impregnating a resin to a reinforcing fiber c group extendedly arranged and set along the rod axis X direction.
