Progesterone receptor modulators of formula I, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R₁, R₂, R₃, R₄, R₅, R₆ and R₇ are as defined herein, are useful for contraception and hormone replacement therapy are described. Also provided are products containing these compounds.
