<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable handrail structure which can be used by constituting a turning handrail member, which is provided to a wall surface of a building so that it crosses the opening of a doorway of the building or the like in a horizontal stance, so that it can turn by making its one end a pivot, by retracting the turning handrail member in a vertical stance at the time of use of the opening of the doorway and by fixing the turning handrail member in the position. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail joint for turning of the movable handrail structure consists of a support socket member 3, a turning socket member, and a joint mechanism. The support socket member 3 is supported by a support fixed to the wall surface of the building, and the turning socket member is attached to one end of the turning handrail member 2. Then the joint mechanism joints the support socket member to the turning socket member so that they can turn. Then a vertical-stance fixing part consists of a support bracket member mounted on the wall surface and a non-support member supported and fixed by a support bracket member attached to a position close to the other end of the turning handrail member. Then the turning handrail member, which is turned in a vertical stance by making the handrail joint for turning a pivot, is fixed by engaging the non-support member of the vertical-stance fixing part with a support bracket. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
