<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illegal alteration detection system for a vehicle parts capable of easily and reliably detecting illegal alteration when the illegal alteration exists while suitably preventing induction of the illegal alteration while ensuring the freedom of layout and freedom in a manufacturing step. <P>SOLUTION: A small sized radio automatic recognition IC (RFID: Radio Frequency Identification) is adopted and a signal is transmitted to a receiver 13 by radio to cancel a line between RFID and ECU 14. Thereby, the freedom of layout is increased and it is contributed to reduction of assembling man-hour and reduction of cost. The RFID 12 is a small size and is formed by mixing it to a slurry. The RFID 12 is installed on an inconspicuous place of an object part 11 to be detected and visual confirmation of the RFID 12 can be made difficult.
