PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus which can stop heating without overboosting the output voltages of a boosting circuit and a power-factor improving circuit. SOLUTION: The timing of stopping heating is configured to be set in the order of the boosting circuit 14, the power-factor improving circuit 7 and an inverter circuit 15. Thereby, a load impedance viewed from the boosting circuit 14 having a boosting function and the power-factor improving circuit 7 are in the state of having less variation because the inverter circuit 15 is driving, and the heating can be safely stopped with the each output voltage not overboosting at the stopping time of the boosting circuit and the power-factor improving circuit.
