PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer and its dispensing method dispensing accurately a test sample by reducing an influence between test samples. SOLUTION: This automatic analyzer for dispensing the test sample and a reagent pertinent to a measuring item of the test sample into a reaction container and measuring the mixed liquid, includes a reaction disk 5 where a plurality of reaction containers 4A, 4B corresponding respectively to A, B measuring lines are arranged on the circumference, which is moved in each analysis cycle and then stopped; and a sample dispensing probe 16, a sample dispensing arm 10 and a sample dispensing pump 10a for sucking the test sample from a sample container 17 in each analysis cycle, and discharging it into the reaction containers 4A, 4B. During movement of the reaction disk 5, the test sample to be discharged into the reaction container 4A is sucked from the sample container 17, and during stop after movement of the reaction disk 5, the test sample is discharged into the reaction container 4A, and the test sample is sucked again from the sample container 17 and discharged into the reaction container 4B.
