<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance mediation apparatus or the like, capable of remotely maintaining a plurality of maintenance target apparatuses according to a uniform maintenance policy through a network. <P>SOLUTION: The maintenance mediation apparatus 7 includes a maintenance operation instruction information receiving part receiving maintenance operation instruction information from a maintenance center 3; a maintenance policy database storing a maintenance policy 5 defining, with respect maintenance operations of the maintenance target apparatuses 2 and 6 by the maintenance center 3, permission or non-permission for each maintenance operation, or defining, for usage condition information of each of the apparatuses 2 and 6, permission or non-permission of transmission thereof to the maintenance center 3; a maintenance operation determination means determining whether to execute the maintenance operation received by the receiving means in reference to the maintenance policy database; and a maintenance operation instruction information transmission means transmitting the maintenance operation instruction information received by the receiving means to the maintenance target apparatuses 2 and 6 based on the result of the determination by the determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
