<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent toner accumulated below a toner supply member in a toner supply section from gradually cohering to deteriorate in a developing device, wherein a partitioning member partitions the inner side of the device body into a toner storage section storing toner and the toner supply section supplying toner to a toner carrier by the toner supply member. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device is provided with the partition member 22 in the primary device body 21, to partition the inner side into the toner storage section 21a storing the toner (t) and the toner supply section 21b supplying the toner to the toner carrier 23 by the toner supply member 25, and has an opening section 24, guiding the toner in the toner storage section to the toner supply section and makes the toner transported by the toner carrier to a development area facing an image carrier to perform development.
