<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical anisotropic member, having the main axis inclined to the longitudinal direction of a substrate, capable of sticking optical anisotropic members without cutting, when the plurality of optical anisotropic members are stuck. <P>SOLUTION: The optical anisotropic member is formed by applying an optically anisotropic material on a continuous substrate by means of a rotating rod attached, at an angle inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the substrate. Furthermore, the optical anisotropic member is manufactured, by sticking the plurality of optical anisotropic members with the main axis of each of them inclined with respect to the longitudinal direction of the substrate, while aligning the longitudinal directions or arranging them vertically to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
