<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the learning device, learning method, and related robotic equipment capable of increasing their entertaining characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: Before learning the names of target objects from the user, study data for learning specific, multiple, and different characteristics of target objects is collected, individual characteristics of the objects are learned, and the target objects are recognized, based on study results of individual characteristics of target objects, as well as on learning results of individual characteristics of previously memorized and already known objects. If, based on the names of the objects learned through dialogues with users, results of recognizing the target objects, names of already known objects memorized previously, and relation-forming information for relating the recognition results about individual characteristics of the already known objects, the target object is judged to be new, necessary characteristics of the target object are studied, and relating information regarding the target object is newly stored. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
