PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle information-providing device by which viewing and listening of video image of low quality is performed, even in situations where viewing and listening of video image of high quality is enabled, at a location where viewing and listening of ground wave digital broadcasting becomes an eyesore by switching of 12 segments broadcast and 1 segment broadcast of digital terrestrial broadcasting. SOLUTION: When a vehicle 51 arrives at a point 59, where the metric to an intersection point 55 becomes a predetermined metric, broadcasting that is to be viewed and listened to is fixed to 1 segment broadcast. If the vehicle 51 passes through the intersection point 55, broadcast to be received is switched by the electric field strength of broadcast waves which an antenna receives. Next, when the vehicle 51 arrives at a point 510, where the metric to an intersection point 56 becomes a predetermined metric, broadcasting that is to be viewed and listened to is performed is fixed to a single segment broadcast. When the vehicle 51 passes through the intersection point 56, receiving broadcast is switched by the electric field strength of broadcast wave which the antenna receives.
