PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content reproducing device capable of improving operability during the reproduction, and also, capable of accurately synchronizing contents with each other. SOLUTION: An HDD 44 reproduces four MPEG-PSs recorded on a hard disk 22 in parallel. A CPU 38 changes each of reproduction positions of the four MPEG-PSs when receiving positional change operation through an operation panel 36. The CPU 38 repeatedly detects a PTS corresponding to the current reproduction position from each of the four contents through MPEG decoders 28a-28d. The CPU 38 adjusts each of the reproduction positions of the four MPEG-PSs so that the time respectively shown by the detected PTSs is coincident with each other when receiving synchronization recovery operation. Consequently, it is possible to improve the operability during the reproduction, and also, to accurately synchronize the contents with each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
