PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet for housing an electrical device capable of definitely performing electromagnetic shielding in the electrical device accommodating cabinet that opens/closes an opening with hinged double doors. SOLUTION: In the cabinet that opens/closes the opening 2 of a cabinet body 1 with the hinged double doors 3, 3; an intermediate column 4 is interposed at the joint of the double doors 3, 3 of the opening 2, conductive packings 42, 42 are interposed between flat planes 41, 41 each provided at upper/lower ends of the intermediate column 4 and upper/lower edges of the opening 2; the flat planes 41, 41 are each attached to the upper/lower edges of the opening 2; and a conductive packing 43 is interposed between the front face of the intermediate column 4 and the backside of the door 3.
