PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing system or the like allowing the safer and more certain update of information in a non-volatile memory. SOLUTION: A subsystem 110 includes: an unrewritable storage part 111 storing an initial value of setting information related to the subsystem 110; a rewritable storage part 112 storing an update value of the setting information, an access part 113 accessable to a shared storage part 140; an input/output part 114 inputting and outputting prescribed information to and from a main system 120; an update part 115 writing the update value into the rewritable storage part. The main system 120 includes: an access part 122 writing writing data showing update contents of the update value and a writing address showing a position to be written with the writing data in the rewritable storage part 111 into the shared storage part 140; and an input/output part 124 outputting reading requirement information notifying that the writing data and the writing address are written to the subsystem 110.
