PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic chromate treatment applied on a nickel plated layer on a steel made article in which rust hardly occurs on the steel made article, harmful 6-valent chromium is hardly eluted and efficiency of the electrolytic chromate treatment on a large quantity of the steel made article is improved. SOLUTION: A barrel type electrolytic chromate treatment liquid is a chromate aqueous solution (s) used for applying the barrel type electrolytic chromate treatment on the nickel plated layer of the steel made article (w) and prepared by adding a molybdate into a bichromate.
