ALIPHATIC POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aliphatic polyester resin composition having improved water resistance. SOLUTION: An OH-blocking agent is compounded in place of or in addition to a carboxy-blocking agent known as a water-resistance improving agent. The OH-blocking agent is preferably a diketene compound and the carboxy blocking agent is preferably a carbodiimide compound. A polyglycolic acid resin is preferable as the aliphatic polyester resin, and the composition is further compounded with a phosphoric acid ester or phosphorous acid ester as a heat-stabilizing agent.
