PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a glass bottle being superior in design effects by making an interferential color stand out when a coating containing an interferential pigment is applied on a transparent glass bottle. SOLUTION: The external surface of the glass bottle which is molded of a transparent glass has a light suppressing coating film which reduces reflective light and transmissible light, which is coated with a coating agent containing the interferential pigment. By the light suppressing coating film, the reflective light and the transmissible light of the glass are reduced, so that the interferential light becomes clearly visible.
