PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a right-turn timing evaluation device capable of accurately evaluating propriety of right-turn timing. SOLUTION: When right-turning timing is determined based on a distance and a speed of an own vehicle and an oncoming vehicle before right-turning is started, when a speed of the own vehicle from the time when the right-turning is started is too late, even if right-turning is started when it is determined that the right-turning is a suitable timing, there is possibility that actually the right-turning is a dangerous right-turning. So, during right-turning from a road capable of traveling in both directions, an inter-vehicle distance D between the oncoming vehicle 42 and the own vehicle 40 is determined when the own vehicle 40 is positioned on a line L in a vehicle longitudinal direction of the oncoming vehicle 42 which travels on the road.
