PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance and maintainability of a component in a vehicle body cover considering connection structure of the vehicle body cover component. SOLUTION: The scooter type vehicle has a step floor 23 as a low-floor type floor, a power unit 14 suspended oscillatingly at a rear frame 12, an air cleaner 18 installed at the upper part of the power unit 14, and the upper part of the air cleaner 18 covered with the vehicle body cover 21. The lower part of the vehicle body cover 21 is hung to be overlapped with the air cleaner 18 in side view, the part overlapped with the air cleaner 18 of the vehicle body cover 21 is divided into a front part cover 37 and a rear part cover 38, and the front part cover 37 is provided in succession to the step floor 23.
