PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a quality of a shaped article and decrease a burden to a mold or equipment by preventing a mold from inclining even in a shaping process in which a movable mold is on the way of a stroke. SOLUTION: There are set in a shaping apparatus a shaping process of shaping a work into a predetermined shape by pressing the work between both molds in the course of the movable mold 22 being in a stroke toward a fixed mold 20, and a trimming process in which an unnecessary part is trimmed by the movable mold 22 further moving. The shaping apparatus has supports 20c and 22c fixed to mold plates 20a and 22a of the fixed mold and the movable mold respectively, and a spacer 34 capable of being placed between both ends of each of the supports 20c and 22c on both mold sides in the shaping process. The supports 20c and 22c with the spacer being placed between them take a charge of mold-clamping force given to both the molds in the shaping process. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
