PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopically extensible rod reduced in fabrication charge and capable of preventing a locked state. SOLUTION: The joint part for holding a state of drawing out a small diameter side rod body 1 from a large diameter side rod body 2 is provided by forming three inclined surface parts on the inner peripheral surface at the rod tip end of a large diameter side rod body 2 and setting an inclined contact surface 1A and projection parts 1a on the outer peripheral surface of the rod rear end of a small diameter side rod body 1. On the large diameter side rod body 2, a inclined receiving surface 2A receiving the inclined contact surface 1A with a contacting state, a minimally inclined surface 2B contacting with the projection parts 1a and having a minute diameter expansion rate, and an inclined guide surface 2C for leading the projecting parts 1a to the minimally inclined surface 2B. The diameter expansion rate of the minute inclined surface 2B is set smaller than the diameter expansion rate of the inclined guide surface 2C and the inclined receiver surface 2A.
