PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic parallel type working machine for accurately carrying out treatment works by reducing fatigue of an operator without taking care on relation of the angle between a working surface and the working machine by bringing the operation to be automatic from hand control. SOLUTION: One end of a support shaft 22 is fixed to a support link 20 shaken around a shaking shaft and a working section is fixed to the other end of the support shaft 22 through a rotary shaft. The working section can be shaken around the rotary shaft by actuator comprising a forth cylinder 26 and the like. A first and a second ultrasonic wave sensors 30, 31 for measuring distances to objects are installed on the outer surface of a case 19 of the working section 7. The automatic controller receiving signals from the first and the second ultrasonic waves controls the actuator to bring the working section 7 to be almost parallel to the object such as a slant surface and the like.
