A folding high chair has a tubing rack (10), a seat, a frame section positioned in front of the seat, front and rear legs (14,16), and a folding joint connected to both seat, frame section, and legs. A locking device (18) is extended diagonally in-between the frame section and a section of the seat of the tubing rack. The locking section is also positioned in-between the leg spaces of the chair, and includes a lower union clip (20) secured to the seat or rack section.
