Means for effectively promoting desired slimming that even when applied to a human body, would not invite any local anemia, paralysis, etc. There is provided a slimming promotion device comprising ultrasonic oscillation part (1) capable of oscillating ultrasonic waves of 600 to 800 kHz or 1300 to 1600 kHz frequency capable of conspicuously increasing the level of free fatty acids in blood; and ultrasonic radiation part (4) for irradiating a human body with oscillation output from the ultrasonic oscillation part (1), the ultrasonic radiation part (4) used in contact with a local part of the human body.
