<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Ag alloy semitransparent reflection film of an optical recording medium such as an optical recording medium (CD-RW, DVD-RAM), and an Ag alloy sputtering target for forming the semitransparent reflection film. <P>SOLUTION: The semitransparent reflection film of an optical recording medium has a composition containing, by mass, ≤0.1 to 0.5% Cu and 0.01 to 0.1% Ca, further containing one or more kinds selected from Pr, Eu and Sm, by mass, 0.01 to 0.3% in total and having the balance composed of Ag and an obligatory impurity.
