<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil film bearing equipped with a compact hydraulic attachment section. <P>SOLUTION: An oil film bearing 10 is arranged in that an inside of cylinder 38 is divided into a first chamber 42 and second chamber 44 by a piston 32, in that a sleeve ring 46 contacts to an end of sleeve 12, and in that an annular thrust component 48 is sandwiched between the sleeve ring 46 and portion adjacent to the cylinder 38 so that it may partially lap over these portions. Additionally, its mechanism is characterized in that the cylinder 38 is advanced in axial direction when the first chamber 42 is pressurized so that the sleeve 12 may be located at its seat position through a thrust constituting component 48 and the sleeve ring 46, and in that the cylinder 38 is retreated in the axial direction when the second chamber 44 is pressurized, then, the sleeve 12 is moved in a direction to which it is pulled out from the seat position through chock assembly 26, 28, and 30 and busing 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
