<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical network device which makes possible to select a point to compensate an optical signal property in an optical network, and the optical network using it. <P>SOLUTION: The optical network device measures the optical signal property of every wavelengths, and notifies the optical property index and a threshold value for discrimination whether control is required or not to optical network devices on an communication route. In an upstream of the communication route, an optical network device which is possible to compensate the optical signal property for every wavelengths (a start point of the communication route, etc.), determines whether dissolution of deviation between wavelengths is required or not, and a point to dissolute using the optical signal property index and the threshold value for discrimination whether control is required or not. The optical network device determines a compensator to be controlled and its correction amount based on the result, and carries out a compensator control order to the optical network device with the compensator using a communication route establishment control protocol such as GMPLS expansion RSVP-TE. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
