<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of solving the problem caused by a rise in a temperature when using an optical disk with reduced environmental load. <P>SOLUTION: The optical disk device is provided with a temperature detection element which is provided in the optical disk device and detects a temperature, detects the usable temperature of an optical disk mounted on the mounting part of the optical disk device, and is configured so as to lower the reproduction speed of an optical disk when a temperature reaches a prescribed value during a high-speed playing operation is performed by using the optical disk with a low usable temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
